Jazz Democracy NPO organizes and produces educational activities, workshops, discussions and multi-performance events to showcase the latest trends in this exciting and novel research area on jazz improvisation and artificial intelligence.
The idea is that artists and especially jazz musicians, educators and researchers should be able to take part in this ongoing discussion on the theme of art and artificial intelligence.
Jazz improvisation has a storytelling quality, a narrative and prose in close relationship with Natural Language Processing and the research results can be used thus in a broader framework.
Jazz and poetry are also closely connected especially since the Beat Generation so
JD produces “poetrees” a series of performances that include a jazz ensemble enhanced with AI tools and narrators

“ Athens Democracy Forum” – Presentation of Jazz Democracy at the Athens Democracy Forum, exploring the relationship between jazz improvisation, democratic dialogue and emerging technologies. The session highlights how artistic practices can contribute to new forms of communication, collaboration and critical thinking in contemporary society.
